The renowned World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit is coming to Mexico City on October 29-30. Welcoming local and international stakeholders from across the agri-food value chain, including farming associations, major agribusinesses, food and beverage companies, technology providers, public research centers, leading investors and innovative start-ups, the summit will explore collaborative opportunities to drive climate-smart agri-food innovation and investment across the region.
Industry experts will provide in-depth insight into agtech solutions targeted at smallholder farmers, including smart irrigation solutions and digital platforms; new opportunities emerging in biological crop protection and post-harvest technologies; the latest innovations in controlled environment horticulture driven by year-round demand for high-value fresh produce; and the challenges presented by the transition to regenerative agricultural practices.
Discussions will also focus on the vast investment opportunities presented by the nascent agricultural technology industry in the region, as well as strategies for capitalizing on nearshoring opportunities between Mexico and international partners in food production.
The summit will bring over 300 senior agri-food leaders from across Mexico and North America to engage in 1-1 meetings and strategic networking, facilitating the connections and synergies necessary to advance Mexican agriculture to its full potential.
